'87 VFR750FG pipes and silencers onto '88 VFR750FJ?

Hi, I'd love some input here if anyone's got any in depth knowledge of the underside of these machines. Basically I want to replace my Motad 4-1 which came with my bike with a sweet 4-2 system, mainly to get the bike back into the condition god intended. Of course the OEM systems are very rare but I have found a complete system for an '87 FG. The routing of the pipes is different, but the exhaust ports and silencer mounts must be in the same place so I don't see why it wouldn't fit. Then again, I don't want to buy the system I've found without being sure. Any help appreciated :smile:
