87 vfr shock link

    Will installing a 87 vfr 700 shock link lower an 86 vfr 700?
    And if so how much?

    They should be identical. I don't believe they changed anything there.

    I Know that the 86 is cast and the 87 is stamped steel and supposed to be a different length with different shock lengths ,wondering if it would lower with the 86 shock?
