'87 VFR 700 lowering kits anyone?

    for my girlfriend's '87 700f2?

    Front end is easy, just drop the forks a bit. But it make´s the stearing funky if you dont drop the rear. It must be some easy way... I will look into it and let you know.

    You can just get a Corbin saddle made that's shorter. That won't alter the handling.

    If you want to lower the bike permanently, you can go to these folks:

    They offer suspension lowering services. This way the balance of the bike and the suspension action won't be compromised. It's a little pricey though, $390.00 to modify the suspension internals and $300.00 to tear the components down and to put them back together.

    You'll also have to shorten the side stand and it will be PITA to get it up on the centerstand.

    Just how tall is your darlin'??

    Rather than struggle with a bike that's too big (especially for a first time rider!) consider finding her a smaller bike that she fits on comfortably.......
