87 700 f2 Fuel Line -Carb

Okay so i kept getting leaking from carb. bowls were dry and found it was one of th larger fuel lines connecting the carbs. figured it as the oring. so went out and bought oring...really good deal..but upon further examination i found the larger fuel line was actually CRACKED!!! its only 25 bucks for replacement but i was wondering could i get away with plastic epoxy or plastic jb welding. i know its only 25 bucks but im tryna save some money. any feedback or help.
