Just traded my extra car for an '86 VFR750. From what i've read they're awesome bikes, but it's my first so I haven't ridden it yet, gotta get some gear and take a class!
I probably would have been lucky to get $2000 for the car, and the bike is really clean...

Hoping to get a helmet and go take a course, then start putting around the neighborhood soon. If anyone lives in the Springs I'd love to have someone ride it to see how it runs.

Not in the AF academy ??

Then you'll be less agressive on the road, ride more cautiously and take the time it needs to become a proficient rider, which can't be rushed.

The bike is awsomely powerful for a new rider, and you need to be humble and modest for the first year or two you ride.

Well i'm well aware that the bike is wayyy too powerful for me, i was originally planning on getting something with around 50-70 hp, but this just kind of fell into my lap. The bike is comfortable though, although a little heavy. I'm 6'1" so it doesn't feel too huge. I think I'll be able to be responsible with it, i'm not really an adrenaline junkie.

And no, not at the academy, just the state college.
