86 vfr750 looking for lower front fairings and advice for my intercepter! is spec2 still in business

I'm now to the lower fairing portion of my 86750 intercepter restoration. I've found a couple of places like airtech and spec2, I've found a nice left side factory original for 250 make offer and a 86 vfr700 125 make offer on eBay
If I went the eBay route is just have to paint the 700 pearl white with a factory decal and I'd be in business.400.00 in them after shipping + decal + paint but factory parts..

Air tech leaves us to drill the fairings and find and provide all hardware. Has anyone worked with these ? , they seem to be in business and active and a sure thing.

Spec2 has by far the best price I've found with some of the hardware on the fairings, I don't mind the paint and finding decals. I just want them to fit.

Has anyone went through the fairing process recently, if so, hat will I have to buy to mount the new fairings. What will I need to fit them correctly?

I'm going to buy a rifle wind screen as well, what might I expect with that.

I'm sure this is basically a broken record post, but any time or resources you can spare will greatly help me out on this endeavor!

 

Your choices these days are pretty much Airtech or Beasley. Friend of mine ordered a Beasley upper (right before Airtech tooled back up) and its a pretty nice piece.

 

I found another company Moore speed racing seems to be reasonable and they say their products are as close to factory as possible
