86 vfr750 Kerker 4 into 1 exhaust instal?

I picked up a Kerker 4 into 1 to replace the damaged stocker exhaust. I;m having a helluva time getting it to go into place. One of the stock head pipes looks too long. It actually looks like it might be easier to cut the pipes at the collector and re weld them back together once in place.

The center stand bracket is causing fit problems also

Anyone else run into this?

interested in how this all goes i gotta 86 700 with supertrapp and was thinkin of going to a single exhaust hopefully something shorter.
