86 VFR 750 gas cap conversion?

    Anyone had luck installing a screw on race gas cap in place of the original? Will one from another model bolt up?

    Unless you specifically want a billet/screw type cap, replacements that fit the bolt pattern are found readily on eBay. =)

    The billet screw type is what I'm after. I thought for sure I had looked for these, but now I'm seeing that all VFRs have interchangeable caps. Sound right? Here's one that I found: http://tinyurl.com/mbce3jb
