I just bought a '86 VFR 700 with 5k miles from the original owner. I was wondering what kind of aftermarket parts are available for this bike ?? It is stock except for a Kerker exhaust system. I would like to find an aftermarket seat that is more comfortable but dont know where to look...

    Thanks,

    Greg

I find my seat comfortable on my vfr 750f -87. Mayby your seat is worn out? Ore you can get it to a shop that rebuld seats and furnetures. They will get it as you like.

Its not worn out. The whole bike is like new. I was just wondering if there was a different seat available somewhere. I got a different seat for my shadow through corbin that was much more comfortable than the original, but I cant seem to find one for my vfr...

Unless you can find a Corbin on eBay, your only source for a different seat would be Sargent Cycle in JAX, FL. They can restore or modify anything provided the seat pan is still good. Their website: www.sargentcycle.com
