86 vfr 700 750 engine cases

    Are 86 vfr 750 cases interchangeable with 86 87 700 engine cases.bought a 86 vfr 750 but it has cylinder damage in one cylinder.

    They are the same but would sleeve the bad hole and avoid the bearing issues you are gonna have with a case swap.My two pennies after searching for bearings.
