86 vf500f carb boots needed

Hey Guys,
I have a 86 500 interceptor that I need to put new carb boot (insulators) on. I can not for the life of me find any on the internet. All the sites say that they are discontinued. I thought that the 3 years would all be the same but I have found out that the 86 is a different size from the previous years. Would anyone know where I can find 4 of them? I'm afraid that when I finally get the carbs removed by lubrication and heat that I'm going to find them cracked or to hard to put back on. Other than that the bike has been sitting for at least 12 years. The bowl gasket leaks on one. I have these ordered. but believe it or not I did get it running. So I'm hoping that the bowl seals is the only thing holding me back.

I just bought 4 from my Honda dealer 3 weeks ago, they still carry them and cost me $13.00 cdn each. Granted they did have to come from the warehouse but they where there the next morning.

 

Huh, that's weird. Looks like the 86 had a production change mid model year. Parts fiche shows two different cylinder head break downs. One that looks like previous model year (85 carb insulator still available) and the 2nd diagram ones are discontinued.

 

I got some from my local honda dealer. Beaverton Honda in oregon. They came from a California warehouse. They said there were 18 available.
