86 to 87 tripke tree and fork swap

    Are there any mechanical/fitment reasons a fellow shouldn't swap the triple tree and forks from an 86 VFR700 over to an 87 VFR700? i have a possible donor that appears to be in better shape than my current setup. thanks for any replies and help.
