My son bought a 86 500 Interceptor but it needs carb work. I was wondering if anybody knows what the differences are between carb III and carb IV and how do I tell which one is which? The bike has one set on it and we bought a used set that is different than the ones on the bike. Are the parts interchangeable and are there any after market rebuild kits for either set?
