So I've searched through all the threads relating to headlights and can't seem to find an answer.

First, is the headlight for my 85 VF700F sealed or not? If not how the heck to I access the bulb?

Second, I would really like to modify the light to a dual beam/projection beam...but keep it in the stock fairing...anyone have some suggestions? I'd like not to spend the $500+ on the one's on some of the street fighter sites.

    Thanks in advance everyone!

I got the idea from another vfr member

    Hey

I am using the chevrolet s-10 dark mirrot xenon lights (pretty cool) 7x6 at size cost around 20 dollars and then I going to buy a bi-xenon bulb.If you want a split lights that I think is going to cost allot. To access the bulb you take the front upper cover of and lose the three bolts witch hold your light then can you access the bulb from behind.

    Best regards

    Gunnar

Hey Gunnar thanks a lot! That sounds great! do you have a pic of this s-10 dark mirror light? I can't seem to find anything on google. Is it just the xenon bulb? What size is the bulb??? I know for example my car uses a 9003 halogen.
Sorry for all the questions...just a little excited.

    Here you go

    Hey

There are no more on ebay right now but you can use a clear mirror.Or when I bought these lights I got two and I just need one so if you like the picture I can sell you one of the light for 10 dollars + shipping. And the bulb are called xenon H4-4.That means that the is one bulb with xenon light for high and low beam.If you need more help just ask.

    Best regards

This is where you can find clear mirror

    Hey again

Here is the ebay word for the clear lights:
CLEAR PROJECTOR HEAD LIGHTS 7X6 H4 RAM ECONOLINE S10.Just go on ebay and write this and you will see what I mean.Because your bike is white not black so I don´t think that the black mirror will go well on yours but it is your decision. So good luck

    Best regards

You say the size that fits our bikes..but from what i saw they were all the 7x6headlights. Am I not seeing something?

Hey gunnarf06 from what I remember you said the upper fairing needed to be shaved about a few cm for the s10 headlight to fit, right?

    Hey

That is correct 7x6 lights don´t fit perfectly in the bikes you gotta shave 2cm of it to make it fit on the height then it it is 1 cm shorter on the length.

    Best regards
