I have an 85 vf1000r and the back shock is shot. I bought a 02 800 intersecptor shock to replace it i was told that it will work great with little mod done. does anybody have any exp with this. Also the new shock has adjustments on it from dampaning to spring tension i mainly drive it around town and hit the country roads when i can. Looking for smoother ride than performace if you know what i mean. So if anybody has any expreriance in adjusting these shock I would love your in put on that as well. Im 6'2 and 235lb. I'm not sure where to post this so I put it in a few different ares on this forum.
