85 vf-500 fuel relay shut off

    Is there a way to try and reset the fuel relay. Does it matter what position it's in. I shorted the wires like the Manuel shows and fuel pump comes on. Sounds like mine may be faulty.. HELP ADVISE NEEDED

    Relay is bad according to your test, no repair possible, so install the jumper wire permanently or buy another relay. Relay is more a (unnecessary) precaution than any actual necessity.
