no idle runs good above 1500-2000 rpm does this on gravity feed fuel, fuel pump and relay
are bad. cleaned carbs complete disassembly, starts fine.

also vent line or vacume line that comes off back carbs ? When ran just as vent line starts fine just no idle.

how does no fuel pump effect operation of carbs/engine?

And where does line that comes off back carbs go? Is it a vent line or vacume line?

    Thanks For help

Vent line, so leave it open.

Suggest you may still have clogged pilot jets (dija put a wire through them ??) or air leaks around boots, but you'd need to try carb synch before proceeding further.

Thanks for info will clean pilot jet, bike sat for 10 yrs or more lots of junk in carbs, when I cleaned carbs last fall, I was able to get idle. This spring I drained bowls and got more junk out, will clean carbs again and check pilot valve. Once this is done and I get Idle than sync carbs and reseal clutch slave cylinder then go for first ride.

    Thanks Gortexhunter
