With a fully charged battery, over 13 volts, after starting with volt meter across the battery, I am getting as much as 15.5 volts- I of course do not know the amperage, but that seems extreme- battery in the bike when I got it was badly corroded at the top, so I wonder if this was a previous condition- I have not run it long enough to know if this is roasting the battery or not- any ideas or experience here? Thx
Your R/R is shot - park the bike untill you fix or replace. If you keep going, youll fry all kind of nice connectors and wires and then youll have an even bigger problem. Check out http://vfrworld.com/forums/5th-gene...how-fix-common-regulator-stator-failures.html
