    Hey gang
I'm hoping someone here found that perfect jet set up for my configuration. I've had this 1984 VF1000F with a 4 into 1 Hindle, Stock air box etc for about a year. It always popped on Decel. It also always smelled a little gassy, but when I check the plugs they actually look on the lean side. Pulled the carbs again, just to make sure all of the passages were clear (You all know how much fun that is), also checked for air leaks and couldn't find anything in there. As of now there are 120 jets in it. I don't think that there are any shims for the needles. The previous owner also had a set of 150's in with this box of parts I got with the bike. Seems like a big jump to me.

SO.... As you know I don't want to be pulling these carbs too often so I'm hoping that someone can give me that magic bullet set up. Any help is GREATLY appreciated!

PS. IF you have one of these 1st Gen VF's get new Carb Boots! It will save your ass when you're trying to put the carbs back in!!

Going to the next size up pilot jets might be worth trying or opening up the idle mixture screws a bit.

Read the tuning instructions (available online) from K&N/Dynojet AND FactoryPro that come with their jetkits.
