    Hey Gents

After replacing the head gaskets I've got the old girl all back together but I have one final issue. She starts really well on choke and will idle on choke but if I give it any kind of throttle it dies. Also dies if I take off the choke. Anyone had similar experience?

    thanks as always fellas

Tks for the reply. Did the valve clearances and all is back together. Seems to run fine on choke but as soon as I take choke off or they to add throttle she dies. Didn't do compression test

Adjusted the pilot screws and idle screw properly? Can you get motor up to temp and then see what happens?
