    hey all,

i'm working on my '84 Honda VF700F and i want to replace the handlebars with some straight clip-ons (to give it more of a streetfighter/cafe racer feel)... has anyone done this? what is the fork size in mm? in various places i've seen 39 commony posted, but i've also seen 38...

it will also be helpful to know since i'll be mounting my headlight there, too...

    thanks!

39mm is the correct size. Be careful of fairing clearance - typical clip-ons are usually too low to work on the VF700F's. That is assuming you are still using the stock fairing.

    thanks jamie...

i've removed the stock fairing, so it won't be an issue... i'll be mounting the headlight to the forks. not sure what i'll do about the gauge cluster yet... stock is pretty chunky.
