'83 VF750F Can not get front engine mount bolt hole to line up

    Bike has been sitting without the front bolt hole mounts aligned for months. Is it safe to remove the rear head dowel/bolt permanently to get the front ones in?

    I wouldn't remove them. Just loosen all engine bolts and wiggle motor to get the fronts in. You may want to use a small hydraulic jack under the motor to get the weight off the bolts to wiggle easier.
