8-Spoke Rear on 98-00

    I'd like to hear from anyone that's converted the stock rear wheel to the earlier 8-spoker on their 98-00 800FI.
    First off, is this a straight forward bolt on conversion?
    Secondly, can you still run a 180 profile tire?

    yes, it's a straight-on conversion. Several people at sport-touring.net have done this..... YOu can also still run a 180 series rear. No problem.

    The only problem is the tough time finding an 8-spoke rear!
