7th gen akrapovic exhaust fit on a 5th gen vfr?

I have always wanted an akrapovic exhaust on a 5th gen, does anyone know if the one they make for 7th gens would fit on our bikes?

 

If you talking about a slip on, you might be able to have a mid-pipe bent and adapted correctly, and then do some work to figure out how to mount the slip on.

if you talking about a direct bolt on, I doubt it would work. 2 different bikes.

I've heard that the 8th gen mounting is the same as the 5th gen. I think someone test fit a stock 5th gen silencer they had laying around onto an 8th gen, and other than being too long, it actually fit. You might be able to order an 8th gen akra from a vendor with an easy return policy and test it out.
