my 1991 750 vfr has developed a horrible knock/ or rattling noise, when I came to a stop at a junction, when warm and when I pull clutch lever in, then 10 mins later pulling up at my house it had dissapeared, I did take the clutch apart awhile ago, and found the small oil pump chain had a bit of slack in it, could it be that, and can anyone tell me if it is worth buying a clutch starter kit, could this be giving me this noise, many thanks to anyone that may be able to answer this
I have a similar rattle when I first start my 1990. It rattles until I pull the clutch in, then it stops. Once it's warmed up it seems to go away or at least diminish. Curious how this turns out for you.
