700 carbs on a 1000?

    Anyone know if the carbs off an 85 700 will fit on an 85 1000? i cant find a thread on it or im missing it somewhere.

    are they different diameter wise? I know the internal differences are the main jets and they use the same slow jet. ane there is a difference of .o5 for the float level.

    Carb throats would not align with intake runners, different spacing, different diameters. Do you have the 1000 carbs ?
