I just bought a set of these because for the price they can't be beat.IMO If you need good tires and don't have the bucks then a set of tires for $129 shipped might help you out.

Are they sport touring tires...hard in the center and medium on the sides. Let us know how they work...

I see they are no longer available. I got the Ultra Sports. They are a street Sport tire. Not to be confused with a street/track or full track tire and not with a sport touring tire. They have 2? compounds for rubber. I won't put these on until I get back from my trip out to Regs R3 get together. I knew I'd need tires soon after the trip (6-8k miles) On some Conti Motions. We'll see how they hold up to the beating they are going to get here starting next Thursday.

 

avons are a very hard compound and they tend to cup, they are good for a really heavy bike. I didn't like them on a light R6 Yamaha. I think M5 are better for sure-I got a full set for $195 shipped-front tire free. otstir:

 

I ordered a pair of those too for $130 delivered.

 

Pretty good deal but i am too partial to Bridgestone tires only lol. Im a huge fan of the S20 tires currently.
