I'm in the process of adjusting my valve and am putting things back together. I've reinstalled the front camshafts and their holders and torqued to specs. I can't find anything that talks about Cam Chain Guide B which is the one that sits above the camshafts. I can't find any reference to it in Chapter 8 of the service manual at the beginning or through the chapter. Anyone have any idea what the torque spec is to this and if I need to use thread locker or not

At the front of your Service Guide ... there's a general torque spec for the different sized bolts (M6, M8, etc.)

Honda Service Guide ... Page 1-12 is where all the Torque Value specifications starts.

Page 1-13 under CYLINDER HEAD & VALVES

Came Chain Guide Flange Bolt - Qty 2 - Thread Dia. 6mm - Torque 12N.m or 1.2kgf.m or 9lbf.ft - NOTE 2 - Apply a locking agent to the threads

I thought the flange bolts were the ones that attached Cam Chain Guide A. Apparently they both are flange bolts. Guess I'll have to take them back out and put some loctite on them tomorrow. Thanks for the help.
