6th Gen: Speedometer switchable between Miles and Kilometers?

For US bikes, is it possible to select kilometers for the speedometer, and the odometer, instead of miles? Thanks,

If you hold the 2 buttons down for a few seconds, it will change your speedo and odometer to miles or km.

Sorry, I just noticed you said for US bikes. Mine is a Canadian bike.

 

Yeah, you can change Speedo and Odo to km, - but the silly thing is the temp still remains stuck in Fahrenheit.

 

U.S. Northeast trip

Being from Canada and having just spend the last Friday to this past Tuesday in the Northeast I used the switch to 'Miles' option, however being a Canadian bike my temperature is permanently Celcius!!!!

 

Does anyone know if this is the case for a 5th Gen? I bought an American 1998 model and would prefer the ODO be in Km's.
