    Hello,
I'm trying to adjust the rear shock on my non-abs 2006.
I know I can order the tool from Honda, but Cycle-Gear may have one in stock if I know the size.
Any answers out there Oh Great Ones?
    Gary

Most shock spanners you'll deal with on bikes are close enough to be used, but I went to my '08 and measured the spanner from the hook tip, across to the inside edge of the curve about 12 to 6 oclock, and it is 2½"

    Thanks Tman and Monk!
I didn't want to use huge adjustable pliers and scratch the shock mount. It's pretty tight in there to wrap a cloth around it and grab the shock collar.
I found a spanner from an old bike toolkit that I had in one of my workshop drawers and it fit sufficiently to tighten up the rearend.
I think it is from one of my friends old Honda shadow, but it worked!
