Has anyone removed/replaced the front fork preload adjusters? Previous owner left some nasty tool marks on the adjusters and I was thinking of replacing them. Can they be unscrewed completely and easily replaced or is this more involved?
It has been a few months since I have had my forks off but I think that they just unscrew. I would remove the fork caps before removing the preload adjusters from the caps.
