OK, I am still at this absolute nightmare of a vfr800 2003. done all the suggested mods to blue plug, yellow earth plug and renewed fuse holder at battery, all earths cleaned on frame and battery cons etc. Mocked up remote battery with 300W load off the bike and generator system is fully functional. but bike wont charge its own NEW battery from new stator,when connected direct from FH020 mod. ( it does charge sort of but climbs very slowly to 14V). Now I am reading about a multi earth connector buried in the wiring inside the frame wiring just below the throttle bodies. W.T.F.?? Honda?? it looks like I may have to remove the main harness to access this UNLESS someone has managed to repair said connector insitu. ANYONE? would anyone know if any of the above could be attributed to my problem? One guy on youtube obtained a new plug and swopped the internal pins from said greay connector to the plug but used 2 x 12G black wires and a tube terminal bolted to the frame.
