    Hi,

I have been seeing a bunch of 929 forks in good condition on ebay lately. I wanted to know if it is possible to replace the stock 6th Gen forks with the 929 forks. Would any additional modifications be required and if so what?

The Ohlins and Penske are really expensive. Plus some suggest just rebuilding the forks with Race Tech springs and Gold Valve. But I just like the USD forks and the 929s are fully adjustable. Additionally, looks like the 929 rear shock can also be used on the VFR (so far only seen 5th Gen based swaps).

    Any help/info would be appreciated.

    Xeipher.

Sure. as a matter of fact, several have done this with the entire 929 front end. A Little short, OMHO, but doable.
