I have a hard time blipping the throttle on downshifts while still gripping the bar. I bet people born with 6 digits on each hand can do it easily. Anyone here with 6 digits? Has anyone tried grafting a 6th digit onto their throttle hand? If you grafted a 6th onto your clutch hand that would probably make opening and closing your shield easier, too...

Like any manual skill, it's a matter of PRACTICE.

If you think that's difficult, try mastering Keith Code's technique ( Twist of the Wrist), which involves downshifting while simultaneously blipping the throttle AND using the front brake !!

1-2 fingers braking (pointer and middle) while the rest are wrapped around the grip. No problems here either. Now where's my slipper clutch?

I knew a guy that had that done. It's a slippery slope. Finding a donor is time consuming, the operation is expensive and from all accounts, those that have had the work done had to buy several penis enlargement kits to compensate for the new fitment.

Realizing that hearsay is at best anecdotal, any personal accounts would, I'm sure. be appreciated.

Any streams of conciousness or unconsciousness excluded in pictorial form of course. This is a family forum.

Yeah exactly. It's more difficult to do than I had anticipated. It really is awkward.
But maybe increasing grip strength would help some. I'm not saying I'm Schwarzenegger, but if you had a firm grip with only two fingers, you'd probably feel more comfortable and secure.

A fidgety midget added a digit,
Forgetting the length of his dick.
The sixth added member made him remember,
His hand wasn't another short chick.

Stronger grip is not the answer. If you are supporting your weight with your arms then blipping the throttle under braking is difficult. Take the weight off your hands and throttle actuation is far more easily accomplished.

I am anything but smooth with this on the track. And smooth is key. So I have no advice to give other than practice too LOL!

I'm getting better, but it is just one of those things some people struggle with and others don't.
