I noticed that some of the LED sellers out there had plug and play relays for some bikes... our stock relay doesn't look like the plug and play variety... anyone swapped out turn signals with LED's and upgraded the relay? do you remember where you got it? I spent about 15 minutes sitting on the floor at O'Reilly's looking at about 30 different freakin relays... probably gonna yank my relay and bring it with me next time, and go to Autozone or one of the other places ... unless someone has done it already and willing to share the info... Thanks!

the turn signal relay on the 6th gen (07 model) does led's just fine, older bikes may just need to add a 100ohm resistor in series(use the ceramic coated wire wound, get them at audiophile shops). this 'tricks' the timing relay into thinking that there is a greater load on the system than there really is.
If you want a plug and play relay then phone diodedynamics and tell them your relay number and they will sell you the correct unit. Or you can just get led lights that have the same wattage as the old bulb.

Except that it has nothing to do with wattage, but impedance...
