5th gen top box

Hey folks,
I'm in the UK and am looking for a cheap but half decent top box setup for my 5th Gen viffer. The racks, then the plates, then the boxes seem to cost a small fortune - and I don't have a small fortune.

Fleabay is coming up empty :crazy:

 

Some guys have had good success with the JC Whitney top box (Dubious Chinese Givi Clone). In fact, the hardware (fasateners) are better in the JC Whitney kit than in the Givi stuff.

Huh? I have always found the Givi stuff to be top notch. Fasteners to me at least are OEM quality.

It's part of Givi but cheaper and not as "stylish".

 

5th Gen Givi racks and JC Whitney trunk/rack - VFR Discussion

Take a look at the pics of the Givi fasteners. Granted, the JC Whitney stuff has yet to see the elements but it is cad plated and larger diamter so it should hold up better than the Givi fasteners.
