Did some research, Pretty sure I want to go with 530 17t and 45t, but not sure where and which to order?

I'd like to get everything from canadasmotorcycle.ca which offer JT sprockets, but I don't know which 45T will fit?.. or If I should order something different.

    Please advise, thank you.

I got my DID chain off Ebay, and my sprockets from http://sprocketcenter.com/ . Some guys prefer the OEM countershaft sprocket because they say they're quieter with the rubber around them. I can't tell any difference, but to each his own.

The 17/45 combination is a winner.

I just replaced my chain/sprocket with a 17/45 Superlite kit on my 5th gen from Sprocketcenter. EK o-ring chain (gold) and steel superlite sprockets are definitely lighter and look nice to boot. They are also on sale for $187.00 which is a good deal for the kit. The superlite sprockets is a nice upgrade for the price.

Cycle Gear has been running the chain press on sale for $40. You'll need one of those if you plan on bradding the masterlink yourself.

    Good luck.

If you don't buy it in a kit, be sure all the parts are 530. I bought separate pieces once that were supposed to all be 530, but the front sprocket turned out to be a 520. Didn't even notice, and ran it quite a while until I looked close and there seemed to be quite a bit of space between the teeth and chain.

A pic of the Superlite. The sprocket just below the teeth is undercut (thinner) so it actually is quite a bit lighter than the stock.
