Does anyone know if the rear shock from a 2000 VFR800 will fit on a 97 VFR750 without modification? I have a new shock on order from Jamie Daugherty, but I have a friend who was wondering if he could put the old shock from my bike in his. He would like to send his old one to Jamie for re-valving but was hoping to ride on my old one in the mean time, or vice versa.

hmm, I don't think so...or not without some modifying anyway, but I have never tried so I can't say for certain... I'll check with my roomate who has a 4g. I have a 5g so we can compare...
