I have a 5th Gen 2001 VFR800, which is by far the best all around bike that I've ever owned. On a recent trip my low beams went out, but the high beams are working perfectly. I'm not an expert mechanic by any stretch, but I would like to do the repair myself to save a few bucks. I could use some advice on the best replacement bulbs and the difficulty level of replacement work. Thank you.

The fifth gen is using a H4 Hi/Low which is two filerment, one for low and the other for hi.
If you want the low beam to work you have to get a new bulbs............They can be pricey depend on the brand.
Where are you in O?, I have a few bulbs laying around you can have.
