Wanted 5th gen ECU.

Looking for a 5th gen ECU in perfect working order.
Shipping to 31605.

 

What year exactly do you need as pretty certain the 00-01 will have the O2 sensor parameters to read whereas the 98-99 would not.

I have one. It's is from my 2001 second deer-crashed machine. The front end had damage but the rear end was / is undamaged. I do not remember the machines milage; the meter panel was totaled in the crash. I am pretty sure it was less than 50,000 miles. Bike has been garaged alwasy while I've owned it. I believe I bought it in eastern Ohio with 19,000+ miles on her.

If you have HISS on your bike you won't be able to swap the ecu without replacing the ignition and key.

 

I believe fifth gens do not use HISS.

 

Years 2000 and 2001 do.

 

I disagree! Honda Global says HISS was introduced to VFR models in 1914.

In Europe they do. So might be different compared to US?

 

Canajan Hondas had HISS too, but not my '99. Not sure about '00 and '01....

 

Yep H.I.S.S. introduced on 5gen in the year 2000 to some countries.
