Hi there everybody, I'm in the process of resuscitating my old VF500 and am wondering if I can put a 525 (DID VM) chain on it. It was meant to go on an africa twin I used to have - I don't want to sell the chain because I'll get no decent money for it. Am I right in thinking that the standard chain for this machine is a 520?
Also, I'm chasing down an electrical problem - someone on this site helpfully suggested I need to check the earth - are there any more earthing points other than the one under the seat? As ever, any thoughts are appreciated. Cheers

No, the stock size is a 530. I'd stick with that, you can't buy sprockets for anything besides a 530 chain for that bike.
