Wanted 4th or 5th gen VFR

I'm looking to purchase a 4th gen VFR750 or 5th gen VFR800 that's been maintained. I purchased my first vfr800 from the forums here over 5 years ago and regretfully sold that bike. I'm looking to get another. If you know of any bikes for sale, post them here or send me an email.

I'm mainly looking for bikes for sale in the south east.

I'm located 2 hours east of Atlanta GA but willing travel as far north as Virginia/Kentucky and south to Florida/Texas.

He has been a Member since 2014. Although that was his first message, that is an awfully long game to play waiting for this opportunity. There are quite a few legit lurkers that aren't scammers.

Not saying he is to be 100% trusted, but I think some correspondence with pictures could easily clear some things up.

Me too. I'm pretty harsh on anybody that displays the obvious tells of a scammer and I will call them out. Usually no response, or maybe one lame attempt to say their legit. And then they are gone. I could very well have pissed off someone that wasn't a scammer, but I really don't think so. I never get a, "I can see why you may have thought that. Here's my bikes (VFRs hopefully) and some back story."

I would rather potentially rattle someone than let a member get F-d out of some hard earned cash.

Someone is certainly getting the short end of the stick given how much time & money I have sunk into refreshing her insides over the last year

This forum & VFRDiscussion have been essential in that process, if it is any consolation it has been so long since I posted over there my account aged out

I will post her up for sale proper when I return from vacation, in the meantime here is a shot of her in the garage, which I will lose in 2 months when I move to a condo.

 

Cheers! The white was done by the previous owner in Charleston, SC, just painted - not clear-coated on top so it is showing some age. She is red underneath, it looks like the white was just done over the top of the original clearcoat but it worked for me so I highlighted some elements black for fun & to clean it up some.
