My bike needs a paint job as I purchased it used and one panel had a touch-up and it doesnt quite match the rest of the bike.

The only thing I dont so much like about it is that it looks sorta "oldish" school to me. I really like the way the 5th and 6th gen's bikes look like with the all mostly one color paint scheme. I am mostly just thinking of painting over the black panel on the bottom red, witht the rest of the bikes fresh re-coat.

I am curious what others think of this idea, or perhaps someone might have a pic of a 4th gen with this paint scheme I could look at to help me make up my mind.

    Thanks.

I like the black lower fairing.

thanks bro, just what I was looking for.

I do like the black fairing but at the same time having the lower fairing the same color as the rest of the bike, to me, makes the bike seem "bigger/meatier" if that makes any sense..hehe. To each his own I guess.
