I've heard that you can use a 4th gen slip-on for a 3rd gen bike, which would be great because it would give me quite a few more options and be a fair bit cheaper. I think I heard that you can do it but you need a different connector pipe. If so can I use the one I have now for my Remus slip-on? I haven't ever done anything with any exhaust before so I really am clueless. Any help will be much appreciated. If it makes a difference I want to get a micron high mount titanium. Thanks.

IF you have a mic and can measure the pipe I can turn
you onto a great deal on a good quality can. I have been
nothing but pleased with mine and couldn't beat the 245
price tag with adaptor and banjo clamps.

I have a D&D can on my 93. The mid pipe between the header and teh can itself is different on a 4th Gen than a 3rd Gen, so you will have to either have a custom mid pipe made, like I did, or cut your OEM can off of its mid pipe and try to fit the slip on to the end of that. I don't know the pipe size for the OEM where it fits into the can. I think my D&D is about 2" tho.
