Today myself and Bryan (Kingsley) took off on a nice layed back tour of the backroads that do make up the greater Vancouver area. I am not sure specifically the route we took, as I am new to the area, however I know it included riding throug Ft. Langley, Abby, Mission and Maple Ridge. We decided to meet around 11am.

I arrived about 10 minutes late, however did make it to the meeting point. Wendal's. A little corner coffee shop that was ooozing with charm.

I grabbed a quick warm up coffee, checked out each others machine, and off we went...to where...i don't know.

    The machines.

Bryan had told me a little story about this corner. It went something along the lines of, "we were coming into it way to hot, and there were leaves everywhere". Fortunately there were no accidents that day....or this day, as I feel like I could have pulled myself around that corner with my fingers, faster than I actually rode the VFR around it.

Beautiful scenery surrounding nice dry twisties is all that followed. I wanted to stop more, however I didnt want to ruin the flow of the ride, as I was enjoying it.

Another stopping point, had this nice view. It really was a pleasure to be riding this fine day

We made our way back up to Bryan's neck of the woods, where we said our tearful goodbye's, and I took off back to the city.

The sun came out, so I decided to keep riding, until it went to sleep. Stopped in a few popular spots around the city.

KITSILANO - Looking out into English Bay

    LORCANO BEACH PARK

The sun started to set, and the clouds lit up, so I found this vantage point, to soak it all up. Tear.

Marine Drive - Just past UBC

    Same spot...4 minutes later.

Bryan, thanks again for showing me around.

Thanks for the company....great ride today.

You indefinitely have the knack for photography. All mine have fences and garbage bags in them!

    Cheers
