So they were holding a charity Dyno even at a local(ish) place called Dyno Tunes. Dynotunes - Home

It was $10 for a quick Dyno. Get your HP and A/F numbers and all proceeds go to charity. Needless to say I was there and first in line.

    Here are the Vids:

    I put down 90.35 rwhp

The only thing the bike has done is the Two Brothers Highmount Can and the Pair delete. (...and the Pair probably only helps the A/F readings)

It was a blast. I had alot of fun. It's amazing how surprised people are by the sound of a VFR

    Thats awesome

You didnt rejet the carbs for the pipe?
Makes me curious what my 93 would put down, with the left side pipe/headers and jetted carbs

Nope. Mine isn't Jetted. I read somewhere that the 4th gen doesn't need jetting with just a slip on. Looks like they're right.

I wonder what effect a K&N filter would have.

    I'm curious too!

really? look at your A/F readings. well below 13:2. they're all over the place. mostly lean. which means you need jetting. a K/N filter will lean it out even more.

is not out of the ordinary to have fluctuation in the A/F readings on a carbed engine.

It's why we went to fuel injection, to better control these things. Too difficult to adjust for with only a couple jets and ports.

This was one of my 3rd gen runs and A/F readings for comparison

Yup, and yup! Grimsby, nice! I know it.

    Hmmm...I'd have to politely disagree.

The A/F graph shows the bike reading very very close to the line showing the desired ratio.

Also the power graph shows a consistant steady curve (making me want to just Leave the bike alone. lol.
