I haven't had the opportunity to ride since Dec 15th or so. Tommorrow is predicted to be low 40's. I'm riding for sure. Probably leave the VFR alone (Cleaned to within an inch of it's life) to keep it off the dirty roads, but the ZRX is already somewhat dirty, so it will get the nod tommorrow! The ZRX, with it's wide handlebars, is a real hoot on dirty roads...... flat trackin'. Nothing like 90 Lbs of torque, most of it availible @ 2500 + rpm:biggrin: Hope to get in at least 50 miles! That should improve my mood!!

It was 32 today here in Des Moines, Iowa. I got the VFR out and carefully made my way down the ice rutted roads (where the snow/ice had melted enough to show pavement and got to the stop sign at the end of the street. All the 'main' roads around are clean and dry, but the residential roads suck with ice and snow still. Anyway, it was a good ride, Only about 15/20 miles or so but it was a good time.

I've been riding alot the past week. Been quite cold, but still enjoyable! I was riding at 37 degrees the other day in a hoodie haha. Thank god my new jacket and gloves came in cuz i felt stupid by the time I got back from my 100 mile round trip~! Now with the jacket w/liner in, gloves, and helmet, I can ride all day and not be cold. In fact, it's like 27 and I just got home!

I prefer riding in cold temperatures. :smow: It's not difficult to keep warm when dressed properly, and it sure beats sweating my ass off when I ride in the heat and humidity of summer.

I checked the weather this morning at about 11AM and saw it was 42!! It's like someone pulled the fire alarm!! I was out and on the road like I was a fireman!!!!

Stop at a local McDonald's on my way back. Three hour ride did wonders for my sole!!

Started to ride this am at 7:30, 32deg on the bike, 60 by noon. Took the liner out 2 weeks ago, but was back in for today. More thank likely the last cold snap before it shoots to 90 here near Sacramento.
