so i purchased a solo seat cowl from airtech streamlining and was test fitting it before prep and paint. im just wondering how it stays on the bike. do i need to drill holes for the metal nobbies to go through or does the little clamp behind the nobbies hold it? also, has anyone purchased a solo seat cowl from airtech and how did they like it.

    thanks

    oh its a 91 vfr750

you have to drill it and those side screws go through it to hold it on

Place the cowl on the bike and press in place for a minimal gap. Put a pencil ionto the hole and scribe a hole/ Drill clearance for the 6mm bolt with the ferrule over it, probably about 8mm (.323). Be very careful and go slowly so you don't bust rhe gel coat. Mounts in the back first and than down into the sides. I don't belive the Airtech unit is made for the pad. Probably have to fab up something.

    Write up and pics required.
