    Hello All,

I'm hoping someone out there can answer this question, or has done it in the past...

I just stumbled upon (and purchased) a left exit full exhaust from an RC30.
This has the original can included as well.

The problem is I want a high mount can.. and its impossible to find an aftermarket high mount left exit can!!!! (they dont make them anymore.)

Is it possible to use a highmount RIGHT EXIT can/slip-on with a LEFT EXIT exhaust system?????

I'm not concerned with having the logo showing.
It seems that I could just reverse the can side and hanger to work on the left? Please correct me if this is wrong...advise would be great.

    Thanks-
    Steve

I don't see why you couldn't use a slip on on the opposite side. A pipe is a pipe - it doesn't care where it is...

Never have seen a high mount left side system, period. only the low yosh back in the day and even those are hard to come by So I say use what you have the way it is, be sad to mod that exhaust as thats a way rare item not to mention spendy.

why not go with the right exit high mount.. still exposes the wheel. I can see why you would want high mount on the left side considering it would give you more clearance when making sharp left turns but, you should consider the right exit high mount.

    Just my 2 cents

I have a 2 Bro's left exhaust on my VFR, 2 Bro's use to make both regular and high mount left exhausts. The only difference was the connector pipe, the pipe between the header and the muffler. The challenge is just finding one.

When I got rear ended a couple years ago, the muffler go trashed, so I got one off eBay from a CBR900, which mounts just fine. But I had to remove the 2 Bro's emblem and filled the two hole with rivets (since 2 Bro's wanted way to much money for a new one, that just gives them advertising anyway). Hope this info helps some.

    Nitro-

So If I understand you correctly...
I can fit up a CBR900 pipe WITHOUT any mods?
    All connections are the same?

    To all others... Thanks!

RVFR- I would leave this RARE item stock... BUT, the reason I got it so cheap was it was used on a race bike and the can has scraps from being leaned over too far during cornering.
So in other words, I can rock a scraped up pipe or buy a new one and attach to the RC30 left exit headers

Pearl, the can is the same, that's all, the intermediate pipe, and of course the header are different. I'm not sure if all the 2 Bro can are the same.
