I just found a nice left exit exhaust on ebay from a 3rd gen (don't think the seller know what it was :)), does anyone know if it will fit on my 4th? I checked the two front headers and rear and they are the same part number for both models, only the stock collector is different. I'll find out as soon as I take my bike apart but I was just wondering if anyone knew (kind of want to ride it with this great weather). Also, I noticed that the rear shock linkage is different, but don't know if it would get in the way.

    Senior Matt,

There is one main consideration for the left hand exit, the center stand. If you have the TBR system which swaps out all of the header, including the OEM "twist" off the rear cyls, then you should have no problem using the center stand. Those designs have a straighter outlet that clears the stand. If you have the model (first design) that uses the OEM cyl outlet "twist", then you may have fouling with the center stand. That outlet exits with a bit of a tilt outboard.

I believe TBR designed it for the 4th gen but those crafty 3rd gen guys popped them on with no issues. So, yes it will fit.

    Excellent find. They are awesome.

It won't fit. Give it to me, because I have a 3rd gen.
